Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to determine the ability of the current Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training SUPT program design to satisfy Air Force pilot training requirements. An understanding of the FORTRAN programming language and the SLAM simulation language is necessary to conduct further analysis with this model. A statistical analysis was conducted using the following design factors the production goal, training program ratio, number of T-46 aircraft assigned, number of Tanker-Transport-Bomber TTB training aircraft assigned, number of T-46 simulators, and number of TTB simulators and their interactions have a statistically significant impact on the Fighter-Attack-Reconnaissance phase of basic training. Keywords include Pilot studies, Jet training planes, Flight training, Simulation, and Mathematical models.
