Design Specifications for IMAGER: The DREO (Defence Research Establishment Ottawa) Image Processing System.

Abstract:

This Canadian document enunciates the detailed design specifications for the development of image processing software first three releases for the DREODefence Research Establishment, Ottawa Image Processing System consisting of a Data General Eclipse S-130 computer equipped with a NORPAK RGP-3050 Image Processor. A top-down structured design technique approach is used. It is composed of data and file formats, structure charts and programming specifications for all modules. These modules allow image transfer and manipulation, system parameters bookkeeping and multispectral and monospectral image analysis techniques. The user manual is AD-A151 754.
