Abstract:

This report has four subjects 1 An investigation of DoD protocol standards for computer communications. Emphasis is on the X2.5 protocol and a similar existing DDN protocol. 2 Local area network protocols are discussed with emphasis on security architecture. 3 A study of the logistics usage of AUTODIN and an analysis of a way to reduce the usage. 4 A study of data base management systems and their use in data communications systems. Interfaces to Ada are emphasized in this section.
