Abstract:

A Disciplined Review I for the M60 Series Tanks was conducted in October 1977. The review was accomplished through a series of working group sessions that addressed the hull and assessories, engine compartment, electrical systems, track and suspension and turret including cupola, main, and secondary armaments. This Update System Assessment provides a follow-up to the Disciplined Review I. It addresses the system changes which have occurred since that review, current problems, and planned actions.
