Abstract:

This report documents a backorder review conducted by the Operations Research and Economic Analysis Office of the Defense Logistics Agency from August to October 1981. The review was aimed at identifying the causes of backorders and possible approaches to reducing their number. Information and data contained in this report are based on input available at the time of the review.
