Abstract:

This thesis presents a novel naval radar model which computes radar detection in the presence of land masses. The model is an interactive computer program which accepts scenarios and radar parameters from the user and displays a map of the area indicating where targets can and cannot be detected. The resulting map can be displayed at the users computer terminal or printed offline.
