Abstract:

The report describes the effect of long term weathering on polyphenylene oxide PPO and Noryl a polystyrene modified PPO. Both natural and carbon black containing samples of each were exposed for up to 4 years at two tropical and one temperate site. Visual appearance, weight, tensile and flexural strength and electrical properties were recorded and used to monitor the effects of weathering. Author
