Abstract:

This report documents The Navy Computer Accreditation Study performed by the IBM Federal Systems Division for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Office of Naval Research, under Contract N00014-79-C-0986. The primary objectives of this study was for IBM to Examine accreditation concept candidates Define a meaningful policy and management framework for future Navy needs Provide, where possible, specific details to put into the policy management structure Support the proposed accreditation approach with rationale and analysis.
