Abstract:

This volume contains a detailed description of the development, results, and conclusions of EASY-ACLSAir Cushion Landing Systems dynamic simulations accomplished during this contract. These consist of free flight, drop test, landing approach-touchdown-slideout, and takeoff roll-rotation-climbout of the Jindivik RPV and the XC-8A. Also included as examples are an air bag skid simulation and an arresting gear simulation.
