Abstract:

This report, Vol 1 contains the generic functional requirements for a programming support library. The requirements are presented at two levels of detail. Chapter 2 contains a brief summary of the requirements separated into Basic and Full PSL requirements. Chapter 3 contains the full wording of the requirements organized into nine categories. The specification for each individual requirement is followed by a brief description of its purpose. This volume may be used as the specification for a Full or Basic PSL under a software development contract. Volume II will be published at a later date. Author
