Abstract:

A Programmable video Digitizing System PVDS has been developed that will digitize selected portions of the return TV analog video from the Ebison camera at the GEODSS ETS. The digitized video can then be processed by either a microprocessor or a Modcomp Computer. From the data, the software may then determine object centroiding, night sky background calculations, signalnoise ratios and object ratedirection calculations for closed loop tracking.
