Space-Time Signal Processing of Radar Returns.
Abstract:
This work shows the presence of spatial symmetries which may allow a radar system to predict a frequency which will give a near maximum response as the target approaches the radar. If the target is complex then the target may be resolved into simpler components, which have desirable characteristics, and symmetries that may be exploited when tracking the target. An efficient method for the approximate evaluation of the time ambiguity functions for complex pulse envelope shapes has also been presented. Author
