Basic Investigations of the RADAM Effect.
Abstract:
This report summarizes the basic investigations of the RADAM effect the radar detection of agitated metals for the Air Force. The work reported was done by the Rome Air Development Center Electromagnetic Sciences Division, the Polytechnic Institute of New York, and the Stanford Research Institute. AFOSR supervised the contractural work. The three main causes of the effect are subsystem motion, structural vibrations, and junction effects.
