Abstract:

This report describes the design and implementation of the Interactive Digital Receiver Simulator IDRS. The IDRS is a computer program that is capable of processing predetected signals that have been converted to digital format and recorded. It allows a user to computer interactively produce 1 desired hardcopy patterns of signals for a detailed analysis of modulation characteristics and 2 processed signal segments for processing by pattern analysisrecognition programs for feature extraction.
