Abstract:

An approximate calculation is made of the magnetic field with a sharp surface effect of a system of massive conductors a single-turn solenoid-cylinder and a single-turn solenoid-plane separated by a gap. The calculations uses a method based on joining of the solutions obtained for two regions the slot and the external region. The coordinate of the boundary of the regions is determined from the approximate formulas obtained for the inductance taking into account passage of part of the current outside the region of the gap.
