A New Concept in Sludge Filtration Theory for Air Force Industrial Processes.
Abstract:
The specific objective of this investigation was to apply existing theoretical concepts used in air filtration to various sludge filtration systems used in Air Force industrial processes. This objective involved development of a consistent theoretical concept applicable to a wide range of water filtration systems. Once developed, these equations were used to describe the sludge filtration process of concern to the Air Force as a function of the basic system parameters rather than using the classical empirical data base.
