During the years of support of this research by the Office of Naval Research three major areas of investigation were undertaken and completed with resulting publications. These three areas are 1 Pituitary-adrenal system and behavior, 2 Environmental influences on pituitary-adrenal activity, 3 Expectancy and coping.
