Wind Tunnel Wall Effects.
Abstract:
This document summarizes a study of work done on the concept of a self-correcting wind tunnel, i.e., one which uses active control of the flow by the walls in conjunction with functional relationships among measured flow disturbance quantities to insure that unconfined-flow conditions exist in the test section, as applied to the concept to a two-dimensional transonic wind tunnel.
