Abstract:

This report summarizes most of the plenary lectures given at the 68th EUCHEM Conference held at the State University of Ghent on 1-5 September 1975. Among the topics covered were a survey of the current active topics in photochemistry and a projection of where future emphasis may be a description of photochemical syntheses now being carried out in kilotonnage amounts annually photochemistry in the crystalline state photochemistry of organometallic compounds and thorough surveys of photo-oxidations, photo-cyclisations, and photo-rearrangements.
