Temperature Dependence of Al/O2 and AlO/O2 Kinetics.

Rate coefficients for the Reactions AlO2 yields AlOO and AlOO2 yields AlO2O show agreement with previous determinations in a high-temperature fast flow reactor at 1000-1700 and at 1400K, respectively. This report presents the results of investigations at temperatures as low as 310 K. The reaction rate for AlO2 yields AlOO was determined to the 3 or - 2 x 10 to the -11th power ml per molecule per second. The reaction rate for AlOO2 yields AlO2O was determined to be 5 or -3 x 10 to the -11th power ml per molecule per second over the 310K - 1400K temperature range. Author
