Generalized Gauss Quadrature Formulae.

Abstract:

The n point Gauss quadrature formula is generalized to cover weighted integrals. Computer programs for generating the coefficients of the integration formulae for any given fx and wx are outlined, methods of handling point constraints and cases of failure are discussed, and some applications of the method briefly mentioned.
