Los Angeles County District Attorney's Less-Lethal Weapons Task Force.

The Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office established a Task Force on Less-Lethal Weapons. This is a report of the findings of that task force and covers the following four areas research and evaluation, wound ballistics, legislation, and public information. The technical work conducted by the task force was utilized as a basis for drafting legislation concerning the use of less-lethal weapons. The findings leading to the legislation, along with a summary of the draft bill, are presented in the report.
