Analysis of Inverted-L Antennas.

Abstract:

Frequency dependent impedance data is obtained by numerical techniques for high frequency Inverted-L Antennas 40 feet X 40 feet, 40 feet X 60 feet, 30 feet X 70 feet, and 40 feet X 80 feet. Usuable frequency bands for field radio application are described. Good agreement between measured data for an Inverted-L antenna employing only a metal stake for ground reference over poor earth and calculated results is demonstrated.
