A Geography of Kutahya Province, Turkey.
Abstract:
The report provides a systematic geographic description of the human and natural resources in one of Turkeys sixty-seven provinces. The geological conditions, climate, vegetation, and soils of Kutahya province are discussed in detail. Emphasis is placed on the role of agriculture, industry, and the Turkish village. The study reflects four months of intensive field research during 1970 and 1973. Readers of this report should have an in-depth understanding of a unique geographic place in a developing country.
