Abstract:

It has been decided to permit British Airways and Air France to conduct limited scheduled commercial flights into the United States for a trial period not to exceed 16 months under certain limitations and restrictions. It has been decided also to proceed with a proposed high altitude pollution program HAPP, to produce the data base necessary for the development of national and international regulation of aircraft operations in the stratosphere.
