Abstract:

This paper explores the problem of making operational an appropriate instrument for measuring the value of a proposed decision analysis exercise. Three completed decision analysis exercises are subjected to an after-the-fact valuation in an attempt to gain a hindsight value for the analysis, with a view to facilitating before-the-fact valuation of analagous decision analysis exercises.
