Abstract:

H. P. White Laboratory designed and fabricated a fixture for the non-destructive recovery of inert, fuzed 30mm projectiles. The design goals for the fixture were determined to be Compatibility with test barrels currently in use by Frankford Arsenal capability of being adapted to barrels which might be provided even though physical features of these barrels may vary from that used for initial design and, capability of providing non-destructive recovery of 30mm projectiles.
