Abstract:

The installation of the electronic interface required for recording of the mooring tower load cell outputs is discussed. The electrical calibration method is described. Results of the force loading calibration are discussed and compared to the calibration curves published by Battelle. Recalibration of the system to provide recorder readouts in terms of force instead of strain is discussed.
