Abstract:

This report describes design and construction of a wing mountable, atmospheric conductivity and electric field measuring pod for an RB57 F aircraft modification of a design for wing mountable electric field measuring pod for a C-130 aircraft generation of a computer software package for analysis of atmospheric electricity data design and construction of a miniaturized electric field sensing system for airborne use design and fabrication of an air droppable, lightning discharge instigator and the design and critiquing of a near real time atmospheric electricity measuring and analysis system.
