Abstract:

The objective of this contract was to design, fabricate, assemble, test, calibrate and prepare for launch satellite-borne instrumentation to measure upper atmospheric density using two Cold Cathode Density Gauges and one Hot Filament Density Gauge. A further objective was to modify a Government furnished Cold Cathode Density Gauge System to make it compatible with the satellite specifications.
