Documentation of Distributed User Material (UMAT) and Vectorized User Material (VUMAT) Models

Abstract:

This report presents an approach for documenting user material models in an Abaqus distributed user material UMAT or vectorized user material VUMAT format for transition to the US Department of Defense and potential use in application codes to support mission programs. This will facilitate rapid adoption of models developed through external collaborations.
