Abstract:

Naval Surface Warfare Center NSWC Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division IHEODTD brings together the largest full-spectrum energetics facility in the Department of Defense, with the largest concentration of EOD technology and resources in the world. NSWC IHEODTD is one of 10 warfare center divisions within the Naval Sea Systems Command Enterprise. The warfare centers have a combined personnel of approximately 25,000 and maintain 164 unique research,development, test and evaluation facilities and 129 unique technical capabilities in their portfolios. The command has the largest workforce in the DoD dedicated to EOD and energetics
