Abstract:

Heat stress injuries in the military pose a significant problem in both training and tactical environments. The Hot Environment Assessment Tool HEAT was developed on a mobile computing device an Android smart phone to allow the determination of workrest times and water intake requirements. This document provides a users guide for HEAT.
