Abstract:

Nitroso rubber co- and terpolymers using CF3NO, CF2CF2, CF2CFCFCF2, CF2 CFCOCF3 and C6F5NO as well as copolymers of vinylidene fluoride with hexafluoropropene and perfluoromethyl vinyl ether have been prepared. Monomers such as difluoromaleic anhydride, perfluoro-2,5-diazahexane-2,5-dioxyl, alpha, omega-difunctional perfluoroalkylene oxides derived from tetrafluoroethylene oxide, perfluoromethyl vinyl ether, pentafluoronitroso-benzene and tris 3-cyanohexafluoropropyl-s-triazine have been prepared and sent to Air Force Materials Laboratory.
