Abstract:

A tracking mode Radio Direction Finding system using a Circularly Disposed Antenna Array has been implemented. The hardware essential to the tracking mode operation is described. The software used by the PDP-11 computer to control the tracking mode operation is described. Experiments are performed with the tracking mode system and experimental data show the system is capable of tracking a signal successfully. Author
