Abstract:

The LORA Level of Repair Analysis Computer Program was developed to expand the concepts and logic of AR-60. LORA is an analysts tool that facilitates the evaluation of the many ILS factors contributing to the life cycle cost of systemsequipments. The program can compare the applicable maintenance strategies under designated operational environments, make visible the essential support requirements, provide a sound baseline for optimizing or studying total package procurement concepts of systemsequipments, and, by analysts choice, limit cost analysis to selected sequential phases.
