Fluidic Altitude Computer Phase IV.

reportActive / Technical Report | Accession Number: AD0900278 | Need Help?

Abstract:

The Phase IV effort described in this report involved the environmental testing of a hybrid design of a fluidic altitude computer developed during previous phases of this program and the modifications necessary to meet service requirements. Testing was performed to identify potential problems in the service environments of temperature, altitude, shock and vibration. The procedures detailed in MIL-STD-810B, Environmental Test Methods, were adhered to whenever practical. Included in this effort was the development of a manual readout circuit so that the information generated during any given iteration could be stored or remembered for a time sufficient for a human observer to record. This circuit was integrated with the laminate stack and was included in all tests.
