Abstract:

Annex F supports the Technical Summary and is restricted to the functional application of Terrain Intelligence. This application pertains to the collection, analysis and processing of data of combat significance to include vegetation, soil, relief, drainage, etc. The terrain function provides for the accumulation and dissemination of terrain intelligence to all echelons from maneuver battalion through field army. Annex F defines the data base, input and output formats, and transaction processing and estimates transaction loads and data base volumes. This application interfaces with Weather Data Annex K and Tactical Troop Movement Annex M.
