Demonstration of LOGOS I System for English-Vietnamese Machine Translation.

The report describes a two month effort directed at preparing the LOGOS I System for a demonstration of an initial capability in machine translation from Technical English into Vietnamese. The scope and results of this effort are outlined in Section I CONTRACT OBJECTIVES AND PERFORMANCE. Appendix A consists of machine translation samples produced under contract. Section II provides a detailed description of the LOGOS I system. Current activities and future development plans are reported in Section IV.
