Abstract:

The article introduces the design of the optimum operator of a numerical phase discriminator for controlling the frequency or speed of a magnetic tape, or the rpm of engines, machines, etc. According to its operator the discriminator circuit is designed as a minimalized sequential logic circuit, along with its simpler variant according to a more economic operator.
