Abstract:

Sound velocity and bathythermograph measurements were made from USS COUCAL ASR-8 in the western Pacific during June 1963 in connection with Project LOLA. Presented in this report are 17 profiles of direct sound velocity measurements taken by velocimeter and corresponding tabulated velocities for each, 2 oceanographic log sheets B of BT slide numbers and associated surface data, and 27 BT temperature profiles.
