Vibration Measurements in Aviation Technology,
Abstract:
The report is the third and final article of the series Technika lotnicza astronautyczna, no. 4, 1966 and no. 4, 1967. The author concludes his discussion of the various kinds of instrumentation employed in the measurement of vibrations, particularly in aircraft engineering. The uses, similarities, and compatibility of speed, displacement, and acceleration meters are considered, and the principles underlying the ability of these devices to provide effective information regarding signal amplitude, frequency, configuration, and phase are described. The application of integration and differentiation techniques in accelerometers with active and passive acceleration sensors, either of the piezoelectric or electrodynamic type, is analyzed, and the role of the primary components found in such systems for example, voltage dividers, voltage amplifiers, voltmeters, recording apparatus, etc is considered.
