Abstract:

Results are presented for testing conducted to demonstrate the capability of the large pressure bulkhead and centerline beam of the Gemini B spacecraft to withstand ultimate burst pressure and ultimate collapse pressure. The large pressure bulkhead and centerline beam withstood the applied ultimate burst pressure and ultimate collapse pressure without any visible damage or deformation. Author
