Abstract:

This report describes the research and development of broadband latching microwave ferrite three-port single junction circulators. The design considerations, development, structural configuration and performance characteristics are detailed for these circulators over the following frequency bands Stripline Circulators L band, 1.0 - 2.0 GHz LS Band, 1.5 - 3.0 GHz S Band, 2.0 - 4.0 GHz C Band, 4.0 - 8.0 GHz Waveguide Circulators H Band, 7.0 - 10.0 GHz and X Band, 8.2 - 12.4 GHz The design and development of an X-band waveguide 30 kw peak, 300 watt average four-port latching switch utilizing phase interferometer techniques are presented along with the development of a 30 kw peak, 300 watt average three-port switch.
