Hydrolytic Stability of Elastomeric Materials.
Abstract:
Seven elastomeric materials were exposed in a high temperature-high humidity environment 200F, 95 R.H. for various intervals, through 28 days. Deterioration varied greatly and most of the materials reached a plateau a leveling-off of degradation which occurred approximately at the 7-day interval. Several comparative environments were studied, including a cycling procedure simulating operational conditions. Author
