Abstract:

The objective of this contract is to develop the technology required to fabricate an integrated microwave receiver that will operate at 94 GHz. A circuit is envisioned which would use a balanced-mixer circuit with two Schottky barrier mixer diodes, and a local-oscillator source composed of a Gunn oscillator operating at 31 GHz and an X3 harmonic generator using Schottky barrier varactor diodes.
