STUDIES ON SOIL-CEMENT STABILIZATION.
Abstract:
Soil-cement stabilization has been attempted on a large number of soil samples. An arbitrary criterion for minimum strength requirements has been assigned. Those soils that could not be stabilized and those requiring additional confirmatory tests have been isolated. The results of classification tests on all soils and a few additional tests Mineralogical analysis, chemical analysis, and miniature CBR on a few selected soils have been reported. On one of the soils that cannot be stabilized with 10-percent portland cement, the effect of admixtures to cement on the strength has been studied. Author
