NEW CONTRIBUTIONS AND PRINCIPLES APPLICABLE TO THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM,
Abstract:
The injection method is unsuited for the study of lymph vessels in the organs, since the pigment lines developing in its application are not identical with the lymph vessels. A method is needed which dilates the lymphatic capillaries and the small vessels, making them easily identifiable on histological sections. Examinations of kidneys, testes, epididymis, stomach, intestine, gall bladder and urinary bladder showed that far fewer lymph vessels are present under such conditions than upon utilization of the injection process. The methods are described. Author
