Abstract:

The purpose of the pamphlet is to introduce the fundamental techniques involved in satellite communications and to present some of the technology that personnel assigned to satellite communications ground stations must master if they are to become an efficient and effective work force. The pamphlet may be utilized as a supplementary text in the satellite communications training courses. Also, it may serve as an information type text for personnel not directly concerned with the satellite communications program, but who desire a general knowledge of the principles and techniques employed in the program.
