Abstract:

An alarm delay system has been developed for installation in the IMPULSPHYSIK GmbH VIDEOGRAPH B Fog Detector. This system provides certain time control over the reduced visibility alarm signal leaving the detector. It places a minimum on the length of time a period of reduced visibility must exist before an indication of fog is allowed to leave the detector. In addition, it ensures that, once a fog indication has been actuated, it will remain for a certain minimum period.
